Caunes-Minervois is a smaal village with 1400 inhabitants with a cultural and historical town-center. The village is build around an abbey and a river which crosses the village. The beach isn't far away.
You can find there a bakery, a supermarket, some restaurants and u bucher's shop. Three times a week there is a market which will be able to supply you with fresh local products.
Carcassone is 20 minutes away from the village.
