This is the perfect villa for nature lovers. The hamlet Le Priou borders the Haute Languedoc nature reserve. There is no traffic. Only a few families live in this hamlet (some more in the Summer months) and there is a talented winegrower, also known in The Netherlands. He will be pleased to welcome you and let you taste the local wines.
Privately situated in the middle of the vineyards, the villa offers an open view over the valley, especially from the swimming pool which is on a slightly higher level. The garden is grown over with Mediterranean flora. The villa gives ready access to many lovely walks over the range of hills through the beautiful countryside.
The villa itself is efficiently decorated. Enter through the lounge with sofa and arm chairs around the coffee table. Desk and bookcase (French and Dutch literature). Dining area with table and chairs. French doors opening up to the covered terrace with lounge set.
Open-plan kitchen with all the necessary kitchen utensils for 6 persons and large fridge with freezer compartment. There is also a Senseo coffee-maker for coffee lovers. Door opening up to the terrace on the back side with large dinner table and plancha/grill.
The sleeping area has 3 bedrooms with wardrobe space. Bathroom with bath and washbasin, blow-drier and toilet.
The swimming pool lies on a slightly higher level and can be reached via the stone steps on the side of the back terrace (can be closed for little children's safety). The pool also has a large shallow part (0.50 cm), ideal for children. There is a metal ladder to climb in and out of the pool. Deck chairs with pads and parasol.
The garage is used for storage (the washing machine among other things), but there is ample space for several cars on the terrain.
Very small hamlet with only a few houses. Lovely quiet area with hardly any traffic. Lots of walking and biking possibilities. In Saint Chinian (5km), there's a local market every Thursday and Sunday morning and you'll find all necessary shops here (baker's, a butcher's shop, supermarkets, cashpoint, post office, wineries). And of course several restaurants and bars.Discover the Languedoc
