In Beaufort in the little post-office it is possible to buy your daily bread and croissants. There is a very good restaurant, which is situated in the old village school. For most villas the restaurant is at walking distance. The terrace of the restaurant is situated under the trees and on summer evenings there are special organised evenings on a regularely base. Furthermore there is a medivieal 12th century "Chateau". This castle towers high above the village. In the "Chateau" part of the village are still houses which are inhabited and partly restaurated. In one of the towers is a little chapel, which is still used. At a distance of two kilometres you'll find Olaonzac where you can go for your daily shopping. Every Tuesday morning there is a nice market and you can have a nice cup of coffee at "Café de la Poste".
